As an experienced proposal writer and communications professional, I help organizations thrive by drawing on the same vivid imagination and fierce curiosity that fueled my childhood storytelling. I believe that everyone—from a dino-obsessed kid to a sophisticated multimillion-dollar organization—has a story worth telling, and I'm here to help them do it. My storytelling efforts have resulted in life-changing grants and millions in raised funds.

Once Upon a Time...
...There was a seven-year-old girl who begged to borrow her mother's PowerBook laptop. It was for a very important reason: the little girl had a story to tell, one that was worthy of being typed on the fancy computer. After all, it was a tale about a boy who found a dinosaur egg in his backyard, and that was very special indeed. Though her subsequent hunt for a new dino friend in her own backyard proved unsuccessful, she never let her vivid imagination, fierce curiosity, or love of storytelling waver as she grew up.
Now an experienced communications professional, Kat welcomes the chance to use her writing skills in new ways in the business and nonprofit worlds. This includes a diverse range of communication pieces, including grant proposals, newsletters, social media posts, executive correspondence, organizational brochures and more.
Kat believes everyone has a story to tell, whether they're a kid looking for dinosaurs in the yard or a sophisticated company at the top of its industry. It's her mission to tell stories to the right audiences in the right way to help you and your organization thrive.
